T&B Media Global (Thailand) Co. Ltd. hosts an Exclusive Premiere for “The Legend of Hei”

On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Dr. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp or Dr. Tan, CEO and Founder of T&B Media Global (Thailand) hosted an exclusive premiere for “The Legend of Hei”, a top Chinese Box Office animated feature film by Chinese animator and director, MTJJ at Siam Paragon.


The premiere attracted big names in the industry and passersby alike. Dr. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp was joined by Mr. Bhak Tanta-Nanta, Group Deputy CEO of T&B Media Global (Thailand) and CEO of T&B World Artists, Mr. Hans Audric B. Estialbo, Group CMSO of T&B Media Global (Thailand), Mr. Thanakorn Puriwekin, CEO of M Pictures Entertainment PCL., Mr. Vichai Kulthawatchai, Marketing Director of Major Cineplex Group PCL. and more. Guests and press then gathered, with social distancing regulated by the government sectors, for the first-ever live performance by Ink Waruntorn, singing the film’s original soundtrack, “Wandering No More” and later, enjoyed the premiere screening of “The Legend of Hei”.




After the initial debut in China in 2019, “The Legend of Hei” earned over $13 million within the opening week. Last year, Japan also made a successful commercial release of $3 million at the box office. Now, Thailand finally has its own release date, March 18, 2021, with Thai dubbing and Thai Original Soundtrack by Ink Waruntorn, an up-and-coming Thai musical star of the year from Boxx Music, who is the voice behind the main character, “Xiao Hei”.


Set in a world where goblins peacefully coexist with mankind, “The Legend of Hei” tells the story of “Xiao Hei”, a young shapeshifting black cat demon who embarks on a journey to find a new home after his forest abode gets destroyed. With sympathetic goblin partners and earnest human masters appearing one after another, “Xiao Hei” struggles to decide which side to take and where to call his new home.
